WEEK 12/13 - location shots, cast, props, and costumes

LOCATION 

Due to the corona virus pandemic, I can only plan my external shots as it isn't safe enough to find safe indoors areas in close proximity.

All of the external shots will be in one area to reduce travel times and make filming more efficient. for theses scenes/shots, they need to be on a brightly lit area with a aesthetically pleasing backdrop. one of the main focuses will also be to ensure that the background doesn't feature any noticeable building or vehicles 

[VALLEY PEAK]

This first location fulfilled the required aesthetics that I wanted for my music video due to the grand view and timeless landscape. However, there wasn't any flat ground to place the tripod which would have made filming incredibly difficult.

[FIELD]

This location is less aesthetically pleasing as it was surrounded my hedgerows/trees which decreased the visual appeal. As well as this, the angles for the shots didn't improve  as the ground was slanted

[FINAL]

This area was the perfect location as it fulfilled my needs for the music video and had a large and even ground to film on. it also had an extremely open feeling to the area which would mean that the characters wouldn't feel crowded.

CAST AND COSTUME

[MUSICIAN - BRIAR TOWERS] - modern, young 

[SUFFRAGETTE] - 1920s, older

[WOMEN'S LIBERATION] - 1960s, smart casual

[ME TOO] - young, modern

PROPS

The flags were hand made to save money for the production. these are made from white sheets and then painted and dyed to present the wanted aesthetics.

The flowers used throughout the video would be bought around the day of filming as they needed to be fresh and bright - the colours also conform the rest of the video's aesthetics by being pink, red and white.
